Thanks Giving Weekend East Bolton Quebec

We are always thankful especially when we are working on the Live Like Water Retreat in East Bolton. It is a magical place for both my mom and myself. Here are some pictures from our Thanks Giving Weekend. If you have a chance do get out of town and into the country side to enjoy the fall colors. Nature does have healing properties!

Photographic Impressions.

After seeing the Impressionist exhibit from the Clark Museum here in Montreal I am compelled to offer up these images in hommage. When Photography entered the scene some of the painters thought it was the end of their craft and profession. But, according to Renoir apparently he said “now the shop keeper only has to go to the photographer, worse for us better for the art of painting.”  The Impressionists concentrated more on the art of expression and feeling. I feel some what of an similar situation with photography in the 21st century. So many people with cameras capturing…well the only way to go is deep down inside ourselves and our feelings…the camera is now at the mercy of expressing the abstract and creative concepts as well as our daily relality.

Live Like Water Retreat:Winter

These photos are from an on going project to photograph the Live Like Water Retreat throughout the seasons. Here are some early winter shots of 2012.

Fireflys and Flowers

I guess I now know why fireflies light up all night…glowing green lights flying through the night air; its because all day long they’re busy loving one another! I’d be glowing too!
